You can find it all, on eBay!

I enjoy going to estate sales, they have provided me a small income to support me from the transition from Charley's to my unfound career. I have enjoyed to all the sales and learning about the entire process, but it seems everyone that goes to them are complete fruit cakes. Many of them are dirty people and will do anything to get something before I do. My partner Bev has been a great friend and the most caring I ever met, and we sell and buy together almost everyday. Yet, my house is full of crap and I find myself not selling things on eBay like I should. Lazy I guess, but its hard to make yourself motovated when you are your own boss. I also have a problem selling things that are worth something and that intrest me. When something intrests me and I learn about it, I tend to want to hold on to the most valuable pieces.

I have collected McCoy pottery, Roseville pottery, yellowware pottery, ironstone, mixing bowls, Eastlake and Rennisance Revival furniture, kitchen items, Old Halloween and some Christmas, postcards, Detroit historical items, old wooden beds, alarm clocks and so on. Its like I go in stages, but I am still into the Eastlake furniture stage (storgae problem).

Though it sounds like a lot, that is that my house will one day be filled with. It will not be cluttered, because I am not learning that less is more. I got a good collection now and I payed pennies for it because I get most of it from people who have no idea on values. I got enough furnishings and once I get a house and if its too much, I can always sell it at the flea market and make a profit. I just want to hold on to what I have because I have no idea what the size or layout my future house will be like.

Dress up and make it intresting. I don't know what time, but i'll say round 9? Be cool to see some old faces, let me know what everyone thinks or if ur coming. Need directions, let me know.

My parties usually suck, but its my favorite holiday, next to New Years, so it should still be fun.
While visiting with old high school friends, it seems there was a theme of disconnection. I feel that everyone our age is going through a time of loneliness. Hey, were 23 or so and should be married and have a least have a kid by now. We should be finishing school and finding the careers that we dreamed of. Yet, were finding there are no jobs in today's economy and that degree in your hand isn't much good in getting you somewhere in life.

Today's jobs that I have been running into are a joking door to door sales mix, which I am sick of falling for their misleading ads and 1st interviews. They are the only group of people that return your calls and use tricky works like they do "business to business" and work for large companies like Ford and the Detroit Tigers. Yet after going on their first misleading interview, they take you on their second 'training interview" where they drive you places, like Frankenmuth or Westland in my case, and walk "business 2 business" selling oil changes. Your doing their grunt work and I went to college for 5 years to get this?

It seems Megan is having a horrible time with her schooling internship where she works a lot and does a gross amount of work for something she doesn't feel right. Michelle works nights at a college in downtown and seems she is doing something she feels bored and unhappy doing. I can see this with her attitude toward the job and her strong love for the video store that she works at in Lancing. Annie works full time at a plastic plant doing HR and gets paid $9.10 a hour, unheard of! She at least being paid $15.00 a hour for a amount of work she does. I just heard about Katie getting laid off her job, its just horrible right now for people our age.

I think to myself, has anyone that I know of from my graduating class or who i went to school with became successful? I can't think of anyone, feels everyone is having a hard time. Maybe this is a hard time for all of us, maybe its just a in between time. Maybe our future is just around the corner, maybe its not. Maybe this is our future and this is the way it going to be.

We all went our own ways, but it seems many our unhappy with the directions they took. I really miss hanging with people like Bondra, we had some crazy times, crazy good times. we both learned a lot from each other and still relate well.

Friendships go in cycles, i think of the stages in my life when I was friends with people like Bondra and Mark Smits, Bondra and Jay Nichols, Katie Dockeray and Chris Pipish, then crazy Rob C. and like John B., then Dan Zilli with his family, then Annie and Michelle and Megan, then Brad with his group of friends and so on. Your friends for a while, then people move on. It seems like a time we should try reconnect and try to network with each other and catch up. It makes me unhappy to see my friends down. Regrouping is needed, we need to check how things are going with everyone.

After a year in a half of utter silence, I finally got what I was looking for. Yeah, it finally happened, we were face to face for once and they finally whispered those words, “I am really sorry.” I didn’t ever expect it to happen so smoothly, but I am sure the 2 drinks made me really at ease. I had so many things planed in my head to say to them, I rehearsered it over and over the last year and a half, but last night when it came to being a ‘completely unexpected’ showing time, I thought of a good come back on my own. It was so good that I think it resulted in the apology I was waiting for. I mean, it doesn’t seem much just to hear it, but I think it settled a lot. I am not a freak anymore that needs to be run away from and now they know what they did was completely wrong. I am just glad we got to talk like we did a year and a half ago.

On another side note, I also finally met up with my good friend Chrissy Post. Dear God, it seems so long, and from the way it seems, a lot has happened. Traded #’s again. Maybe now I will get that damn wallpaper steamer I been waiting for…lol.

Well, I haven’t really updated since May 3rd it says, so I guess I’ll will this morning.

Shit its summer, and it’s like no other summer before. If you didn’t already know, I have been working on this house behind Hoover 11. It’s my Great Aunts house and she fell in her house…blah, blah…long story short, now she is in a nursing home. I decided to clean the house up shortly after that, and what a project I took on. The house was completely covered in mouse shit, no joke. Like in EVERY room and just covering everything including under and inside of anything u could imagine. It was quite grose. On top of that, the house was completely filled of 81 years of garbage, it was so bad that you couldn’t even walk into a room and hardly open the door. It took days to just throw away all the stuff from one room, and every room was filled. After all the clean up, I been remodeling the house and repainting everything. It looks nice I think, but still needs a lot of work in many places. She wants to move back in, but she can’t even walk that well and I just don’t think it’s a good idea for her to live alone like that if she fall and can’t get up for days, like the last incident with her.

I am getting really frustrated cause no one in my outside family is helping me, its all on my shoulders and I am getting burned out. This is like the only thing I been doing this summer and my bank account is like down probably like around $1000 or so cause of it, but it may all pay off in the end, you never know.

I also got a cat. The Bradley’s never have had a cat, but we have warmed up to the idea well it seems. We named him Mac, then Roger, but we now like Tyson, but I think Roger will stay his name. He’s cool, but he bites a lot and just is so crazy at times. We got him the Romatz girls; he has this sixth paw like a mitten, its kinda cool.

This summer just has been a lot of work on the great aunts house, garage saleing, drinking, movies and some good times. I am just disappointed I haven’t been seeing all my friends like I would like to. Oh well, I am sure I’ll see them soon.

Last weekend was crazy and I am glad I went up to State. This upcoming weekend will be hopefully intresting as well, but we'll see.

Cleaned my room last night instead of doing my Accounting, nice one. I guess I work on a little bit of it before class here in web design, since I don't learn much here.
I can just feel this week being lame, but hey, I always enjoy saving $5 one week, you know?

Wasting time away in the computer lab. Been done a long time ago with HTML, now just waiting for accounting...nice. My skin is dry, it feels weird.

Last night I had a dream that I was like on this show for real smart kids. It was like American Idel, I did well. Then when I woke up on the TV there was a infomercial for smart kids...go figure.

People are excited for there 'new' we pages they want to make with their new knowledge of HTML.

Here I sit in my second day of CIS 134. It's about web programming, I can't handle this. Its just too easy for now, I am all done with my work but don't want to drive home and then come back for Accounting 2. Not looking forward to that class.

Yesterday I had to work for Lakisha, probably cause of MLK day. What a waste of a day, no one does anything cause of this “MLK”. This year people seemed to be obsessed with calling it “MLK”. Even Great Skate had an “MLKing skate” and Value City had a “MLK Sale.”

People’s computers are freezing, ha. I am already done…with my web page.

This is what I made today…wow. http://www32.brinkster.com/mikebradley/

It reminds me how stupid and foolish I was then. I have learned so greatly from it though, yet the bitterness inside has been even seen even from strangers. I don't know exactly what I miss, but something then is missing now. I do act differently I noticed, I am not as personable and daring as I was. But I knew these changes were for the best, things like this makes us all better and stronger people.
